One month of letters

It has been one month of Crushball on Substack: that is eight contributions– four essays, four devotionals. They’ve been good at painting a picture of January, which is a tying of bows around the year just gone for all– the administering of bitter pills and personal revelations of wider relevance. In true new year fashion, we have talked about the prospect of good things happening to you, how to leave things unresolved, how to close a door, and how to have the door closed on you (how to recover from rejection). But we have also talked about the presence of God, and his character in relation to all of the above: where he is and what he is doing when bad things happen to you, and when its hard to get on with your life– these are the devotionals I mentioned in ‘a heads up’, the ones I think you’ll quite like. I’m listing it all below for the benefit of those of you who have remained behind. This is perhaps the first January that I’m not embarrassed of.

Devotionals:

Humiliation

Trusting God

Things you do

Nothing fickle

Essays:

An introduction

Great expectations

So you’ve been rejected

Settlements

If you’d prefer not to wait until the end of the month for things you could be experiencing in the moment, subscribe.

Cheers
